    Signs Of The Times!

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:  And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” (Matt. 24:29-30)

We’ve seen some pretty world shaking financial and political events occur with the inception of this new Jewish Calendar year.  Is the Biblical calendar, in conjunction with a set of recent and exactly calculable future celestial events, in fact telling us that we are indeed about to enter the “great tribulation” aka “the time of Jacob’s trouble”?  Is YHWH indeed presently warning His people of the fast approaching endtime “tribulation” just as He indicates that He would [Gen. 1:14]… i.e., through advance notice by way of signs in the sun and the moon?

Check out these fascinating videos below.  Rabbi/Pastor Mark Biltz reports his

amazing discovery concerning signs in the sun and the moon that would seem to serve as demarcation lines or “book ends” [if you will] that specifically cordon off this coming seven-year period beginning now in late 2008 and stretching through to late 2015.  Are these, amongst many other signs, also heralding the return of Yeshua?  See for yourself.

*** Don’t forget to keep in mind, Pastor Biltz’ statement, that these three consecutive years… i.e., 2008, 2009, and 2010 will all see a complete or partial solar eclipse fall on the exact same day… on the first of Av in each of those years.  We’ve already had the first one back in August; and we are now experiencing some very turbulent times.

Hebraically, a sign that manifests in the sun is considered a bad omen for the nations.  Conversely, a sign that manifests in the moon bodes ill for Israel.  Therefore, as stated earlier, and on the basis of Hebraic interpretation, it would appear that the seven year period- beginning from the latter end of 2008 through to the end of the Fall feasts of 2015- has been cordoned off with some special significance.  Let the “wise virgins” take heed.

  • It’s very interesting! Personally, I’m a pre-trib rapture believer. So I don’t think I will see the heavenly signs mentioned in your first verse. But I may be wrong, of course…No one knows the day or the hour…Peace my friend! – Rick

  • @templestream - Thanks for your comment, Rick; and may Yah bless you,  your family, and your mission mightily.  Well, brother, In my 35 year walk with HIM, I’ve been pre-trib, mid-trib and finally post trib.  However, in truth, I’ve come to see that understanding the Hebraic significance of the “last trump” in relation to 1 Cor. 15:52, Isaiah 27:12-13; Matt. 24:30-31; and Zech. 12:9-11 makes the matter much clearer.  In a nutshell, Hebraically, there are three Biblical Feast Days associated with trumpet blasts: Shavuot (Pentecost), Yom Teruah (Rosh Hashana); and Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement).  Yom Kippur is associated with the “last trumpet”/”great trumpet blast” depicting the regathering and atonement of ALL Israel as well as the final judment and raising of the dead.  All Israel includes you, Ephraim!

As this all speaks of the final stages of the YHWH’s Redemption Plan, you can see why I, therefore, lean heavily towards post trib.  Although it’s possible for me to be wrong on this, I find it very difficult to reconcile the ever-popular “pre-trib” perspective with the whole of Scripture.  Particularly when viewing the condition of the Church today.  I’m kind of surprised that you quoted Matt. 24:36 (“that day and hour knoweth no man…”).  Did you check out the second video?… it speaks directly to this often quoted verse.

Shalom, my friend… and keep up your good work.

  • @Aviel_8 - That’s a long debate…I could give you alot of verses showing that all through the Bible the righteous escape judgment just as we are admonished to in the first chapters of Revelation. The main thing is to be prepared either way ;) . Be blessed in Him my brother!

  • @templestream - You’re right this question can lead to a long debate.  I’ll try not to make it so.   You’re right, btw, that the Scriptures cite a long history of saints that were providentially protected in order to escape the judgment of God that was coming.  The thing is, Rick, and I’m sure you’ll agree, that that same testimony of Scripture gives us more than ample evidence for YHWH’s ability to protect and defend His people in a host of ways that do not require the simultaneous disappearance of millions worldwide.  Don’t get me wrong… I do believe in the rapture; but we’re talking timing here.  Again, you’re absolutely correct in saying that the matter is one of “preparedness” (watching)… this is the real critical issue here.  I couldn’t agree more with that sentiment.  My concern is that I fear many won’t be ready for the shock and confusion when the Tribulation dawns and the “pre-trib rapture” bus doesn’t arrive.

    Shalom u’bracha (Peace & blessings)

  • Hi Aviel! I was wondering what your opinion is on the Israel Gaza raids.

  • @templestream Shalom Rick… to answer your question simply: a sad but necessary course of action.  The world stands at the edge of a precipice.  I believe 2009 will be a watershed year.  Maranatha!…. Avi
